Flu + COVID Vaccines
Flu + COVID Vaccine Clinic 2022-2023
The pediatricians at East Greenwich Pediatrics recommend staying up to date on COVID shots and a yearly flu shot for all patients who are 6 months and older.
This year, we are offering both flu and COVID vaccines at our Saturday vaccine clinics. Your child can receive one or both vaccines at the clinic.
If your child is > age 1 and a patient at East Greenwich Pediatrics, they should come to our WALK-IN (no appointment needed), OUTDOOR , SATURDAY AFTERNOON (1-4 PM) clinics:
- September 24
- October 22
- November 5
If your child has a well visit before November 1, 2022, they can receive a flu and/or COVID vaccine at that visit. (If siblings need a flu / COVID vaccine, please bring them to the walk-in clinics.)
If your child is 6 months to age 1 or needs special assistance please call the office to schedule a flu vaccine appointment.
The clinics will be held outside behind our office, but will be moved indoors if necessary due to weather conditions. No appointment or sign up necessary. We will have cones set up to make a socially distanced line. Please do not come to the clinic if you are feeling ill or instructed to be under quarantine.
Pro tip: The clinic is usually busiest right at the beginning and the end of the session. Think about coming in the middle! Have your child wear a short-sleeve shirt for a quicker visit and if applicable, please bring your child’s COVID vaccine card with you.
We continue to offer a clinic for all types of COVID vaccine on Friday afternoons by appointment for ages 6 month and older. Please call the office if you would like to schedule an appointment.
If you can’t make our clinics there are also school clinics set up by the RI Department of Health all over the state. Visit the school flu clinic site: schoolflu.com
