Flu + COVID Vaccines

Flu + COVID Vaccine Clinic 2024-2025

The pediatricians at East Greenwich Pediatrics recommend staying up to date on COVID shots and a yearly flu shot for all patients who are 6 months and older.

This year, we are offering both flu and COVID vaccines at our Saturday vaccine clinics. Your child can receive one or both vaccines at the clinic.

If your child is > age 1 and a patient at East Greenwich Pediatrics, they should come to our WALK-IN (no appointment needed), OUTDOOR , SATURDAY AFTERNOON clinics:

  • September 28 1-5PM
  • October 26 1-5PM

If your child has a well visit before November 1, 2024, they can receive a flu and/or COVID vaccine at that visit. If you prefer, their siblings can also come at the time of their visit to get vaccinated.

If your child is 6 months to age 1 or needs special assistance, please call the office to schedule a flu vaccine appointment.

The clinics will be held outside behind our office, but will be moved indoors if necessary due to weather conditions. No appointment or sign up necessary. Please do not come to the clinic if you are feeling ill or have a fever.

Pro tip: The clinic is usually busiest right at the beginning and the end of the session. Think about coming in the middle! Have your child wear a short-sleeve shirt for a quicker visit.

Needle phobia? Come for the October clinic from 2:30 pm to 4 pm. We will have additional support available at that time to help with your child’s anxiety.

If you can’t make our clinics, there are also school clinics set up by the RI Department of Health all over the state. Visit the school flu clinic site: schoolflu.com
