Fall/Winter 2023-24 Update for EGP families
The days in Rhode Island are getting shorter, and with the shorter days is of course an increase in respiratory illnesses!
When you arrive at the office for a visit you can check in from your car by replying to the text you have received. You will be directed to an exam room. If you are arriving for a well baby/child/teen visit come in the front door. If you are coming for a sick visit come in the back door “staff entrance.” If you get confused don’t hesitate to call 401-884-8900. Masks are required in the office for patients with respiratory symptoms (cough, runny nose, fever). If you don’t have a mask with you we have plenty on the table as you come through the door.
We are currently scheduling well visits through March 2023. If your child got behind due to the pandemic or if you are not sure when they are due please call and we can help.
If your child is ill and needs to be seen for a sick visit, please call our office at 401-884-8900. We are able to do in office PCR COVID-19 and RSV and Flu testing at sick visits. Results of testing will be sent to your portal. Any positive results you will also receive a phone call from us.
Need a vaccine? If you are interested in getting your child a COVID-19 vaccine or an Influenza vaccine we have a vaccine clinic on Wednesday afternoons. Please call our office to schedule an appointment.
We are always available to discuss your concerns, don’t hesitate to call.
